Abstract

PURPOSE:To rationalize a process by sticking polarizing plates to both top and reverse surfaces of electrode cells continuously by providing a star wheel which has a cell holder, sucking and holding electrode cells to which polarizing plates are to be stuck, at the external circumference. CONSTITUTION:The 1st star wheel 10 is fixed to a wheel supporting board 15 fixed on a shaft 14 while eight cell holders 11 each having a suction hole 12 are provided at the external circumference at 45 deg. phase shift intervals. The 2nd star wheel 10' has the same constitution with the 1st star wheel 10. The 2nd star wheel 10' rotates the star wheel 10 as shown by an arrow Q with a surface, where a label 1 is not stuck, set outside. Then, the sucking and supporting surface of a cell 9 moves from the star wheel 10 to the wheel 10' to press contact and stick labels with and to both the surfaces continuously. Therefore, a sequential process of sticking polarizing plates is realized and further rationalized.
