Abstract

PURPOSE: 0,0-Dimethyl 0-4-methylthio-m-tolyl phosphorothioate is added to polybutene, polyisobutylene to prepare a tackifying agent showing synergism which is used to control harmful birds such as domestic pegions.
CONSTITUTION: Polybutene and/or polyisobutylene are combined with 0,0-dimethyl 0-4-methylthio-m-tolyl phosphorothioate (abbreviated to MMTP) to used as active ingreddents to give a tacky preparation. The preparation is coated on buildings in urban area, factories or warehouses or nesting places, adhered to feet of harmful birds and absorbed therefrom to control them. In the proportion of the composition, MMTP is preferably 2W30wt% based on the total composition, polybutene of about 3,000 molecular weight is 20W40wt% and polyisobutylene of 1,100 molecular weight is 20W50wt%.
EFFECT: Application is easy and the coated composition does not flow away even on inclined surfaces. Further, the effect is durable.
