Abstract
PURPOSE:To economize a reagent, by using measuring instrument of ultraviolet absorptiometry at normal measurement and correcting by using the measuring instrument of measuring method proved by law only in case of generating anything unusual in output. CONSTITUTION:The second meter for water quality 13 is a measuring instrument using a COD method of standard water measuring method proved by law and a part of continuously flowing polluted water is taken in and then, is measured by a command signal from a controlling circuit 18. Said measured value is supplied to the second signal output circuit 16 and is sent to a decision circuit 17 after performing holding or correcting operation. Next, the first signal output circuit 15 is selected by the circuit 18 and measured signal by a ultraviolet absorptiometry is obtained from the first meter for water quality 11. Said signal is sent to the circuit 17 after performing the holding or correcting operation in the circuit 15. Measured signals from both meters are compared in the circuit 17 and when the data is within the allowable limits of water quality, the signal from the meter 11 is outputted as it is and then, when the data is beyond the allowable limits, the signal is outputted by correcting by that of the meter 13.
