Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Freezing of green sludge delivered into a sludge treating tank 4a, which is out of a pair of the sludge treating tank 4a, 4b, is made to proceed through introducing refrigerating and heating medium into a heat exchanger 5a provided in the tank 4a, moreover, a time when an ice layer of prescribed thicknes is formed with the condition keeping the sludge not yet frozen is set for a completion point for freezing. After changeover valves 8a, 9b have opened and the changeover valves 8b, 9a and discharging valve 6a, 6b for water have closed, a pump 21 is drived, then the green sludge not yet freezed in the tank 4a is transferred into the other side tank 4b, which is adjacent to the tank 4a and has done the discharge of the treated sludge.
