Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of constituting elements by providing a clocking cycle instruction generating circuit separately to a counting and arithmetic controlling circuit having a display device in constituting an electric disk computer with a watch, and operating the watch to be selected or the arithmetic circuit and keeping the other standing by. CONSTITUTION:X,Y registers 7, 6 are 28-bit registers, and are used as decimal 8 digit storages for an electronic disk computer. A W register 13 is a 32-bit register and stores the units based on watch specifications. An adder-subtractor 14 is constituted by including a 4-bit shift register, and the respective bit outputs are stored, decoded and displayed. Clock counting and computer operation are carried out by the clocks oscillated by a timing oscillating circuit. When the clock cycle pulse alpha of a clock cycle instruction generating circuit 18 is a ''1'' level, the computer operation is interrupted, and is stored in an operation address circuit 15, and the contents of the registers 7, 6 are cyclincally stored. On the other hand, the content of the register 13 is added with clock unit number through a gate 22, is subjected to digit correction 17 and is stored in the register 13. When the pulse alpha goes to a ''0'', the computer operation is resumed.
