Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a resin for pressure fixable toner causing no bleeding phenomena by polymerizing a styrene, a maleic acid type ester and an ethylene acrylic deriv. or ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer in the presence of wax having a functional group. CONSTITUTION:A xylene soln. contg. wax having a functional group such as castor wax, a styrene monomer, a monobutyl maleate monomer, and ethylene acrylate is polymerized under stirring. The resultant resin as well as a coloring agent such as carbob black, an electric charge control agent, and magnetic particles such as iron are kneaded, and toner particles are produced by a conventional method.
