PURPOSE:To prevent a toner scattering surely from both end sides of a cleaning blade, by providing two side seals on both the ends of the blade respectively, and also a space part between them. CONSTITUTION:On both ends of a cleaning blade 4 of a device 2 for cleaning an electrostatic drum 1 which is rotated in the direction as indicated with an arrow A, an outside side seal 27a and an inside seal 27b are provided respectively. Between both these side seals 27a, 27b, a space part 28 is formed, and as for a toner which has passed through the seal 27b, its moving pressure P is decreased in the space part 28, it is dropped, its shift is furthered by an agitator 6, and the toner is discharged by a screw 8.
