Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to bend the heat exchanging body at a desired position and at a desired angle and to make it possible to use it for a variety of purposes by a method wherein the heat exchanging body is constituted by a flexible metallic cylinder, a plurality of fins extending outwardly of the metallic cylinder and a flexible tube surrounding the formers.
CONSTITUTION: A fin body 5 is formed of a plurality of fin strips 2 extending radially and outwardly of a ring member 4 made of a resilient band metal a plurality of support strips 5 formed on the outer ends of the find strips, respectively. Further, a plurality of such fin bodies 6 are fitted about the flexible metallic cylinder 1 in spaced apart relationships with one another and the flexible tube 3 made of a metal or a synthetic resin is provided so as to surround the fin bodies 6. Then, a first heat medium is circulated through the flexible metallic cylinder 1 and a second heat medium is circulated between the flexible metallic cylinder 1 and the flexible tube 3. Consequently, it is possible to bend the heat exchanging body freely.
