Abstract
PURPOSE: To recover a NH4 salt as well as to decompose the same into harmless N2 or the like by a method wherein fly ash collected in a dust collector apparatus positioned at a posterior stage of a denitration apparatus using NH3 for treating an exhaust gas from a coal fired boiler is washed by water and a washing liquid containing the NH4 salt is returned to a firing furnace of said boiler.
CONSTITUTION: To fly ash (a) adhered with an NH4 salt collected in a dust collector apparatus 4, recirculated water (e) for ash transportation is added and the resultant mixture is sent to a precipitation tank 5. Then, a part of supernatant water (c) from the tank 5 is returned as water (e) and a residual part thereof is sent to an NH4 concentrating apparatus 6 and concentrated at a concn. ratio of at least 10 times. Next, the obtained NH4 salt concentrated water (h) is coated on coal (i) and thereafter, the resultant coated coal is sent to a firing furnace of a boiler through a coal transporting line (c) and decomposed therein. On the other hand, recylce water (g) after the NH4 salt is removed therefrom is again sent to the apparatus 4 as water (e) to be reutilized. Moreover, a slurry (b) of a bottom part of the tank 5 is dehydrated in a dehydrator apparatus 7 and, thereafter, fly ash (i) free from the NH4 salt is obtained and discarded or subjected to usual fly ash use.
