Abstract

PURPOSE: A resin composition which, when irradiated with light, cures to exhibit rubber elasticity, comprising a prepolymer of a polyester polyol, a polyisocyanate compound and an active hydrogen-congaining acryl monomer.
CONSTITUTION: A monofunctional monomer and a photoinitiator are added to a prepolymer, OH value ≤10, obtained by reacting (A) a polyester polyol, MW about 1,000W5,000, with (B) a polyisocyanate compound and, then, further reacting the product with (C) an active hydrogen-containing acryl monomer the mol ratio among the three components, (A)/(B)/(C)=1.0/(1.0+1/n)/(2/nW2.2/n), wherein 1≤n≤4. If a prepolymer obtained under a condition in which (n) is greater than 4 is used, the rubber elasticity becomes low and the curing is retarded, whereas, if a prepolymer obtained under a condition in which (n) is smaller than 1 is used, the composition becomes hard and brittle. Neither of the conditions is preferred.
