Abstract
PURPOSE: To permit high efficiency power generation by converting natural wind into eddy current flow by means of the fixed guide fins curved towards the center of a tower body and allowing the current to pass through the narrowest part in the vicinity of the center of the drum-shaped part in the tower body through the guide cone installed in continuation with an intake chamber.
CONSTITUTION: Fixed guide fins 4 are curved with a same curvature towards the center of the inside of a basic body 12 from a wind intake port 13 on the outer periphery of the basic body 12. Therefore, the natural air stream which gets into the basic body 12 from the intake port 13 is formed into swirling eddy current flow A, which is accelerated during passing through a narrow introducing port 16 and is put into the state B. The eddy current B is direction-converted to ascending flow by a guide cone 17 and passes through the narrowest part 11a in the vicinity of the center part of the drum-shaped body during ascending in a tower body 11. At the narrowest part 11a, the high-speed ascending eddy current C having the maximum speed is formed, and the windmill 18 for generation which is installed on the narrowest part 11a can be rotated most effectively.
