Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare an antitumor agent containing a globulin fraction insoluble in cold water as a main component, by using human blood or its fraction as a raw material, and repeating the steps comprising freezing, thawing recovery of precipitate by centrifugation under cooling, and dissolution in warm aqueous solution.
CONSTITUTION: Human blood (added with heparin) or its fraction is used as the raw material. After removing solid components, the raw material is frozen, thawed at room tepm. or in water, and separated by centrifugal separator under cooling at 0W4°C. The precipitate is collected, and dissolved in warm water of 10W40°C. The water pref. contains a tripsin-inhibitor, an anticoagulant, and bivalent ions. The solution is again frozen, and the above procedures are repeated at least once more to obtain an antitumor agent containing a globulin fraction which is insoluble in cold water, as a main component.
