CONSTITUTION:When a microprocessor executes a program normally, the output of a comparator 11 is held at an H and a transistor Q turns on, so the terminal voltage of a capacitor C7 is held at a level obtained by dividing a power voltage Vcc through resistances R3 and R10. If it goes beyond control, the output of the comparator 11 goes down to an L and the transistor Q turns off, so a capacitor C7 is charged by a power voltage Vcc with time constants C7, R3. The reset time width is therefore determined unconditionally only by the high impedance of the left terminal side of the resistance R10.
