Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a chip coil by a method wherein a hole is formed to laminate a thin plate of an insulator or an insulated magnetic substance provided in a through hole and to wind wires around the chip coil and a conductive metallic material is soaked into the hole. CONSTITUTION:A thin plate made of an insulator or an insulated magnetic substance is formed and a hole 1 for an external terminal is provided on a surface plate 1 proportional to a coil length 1. There are formed in a second layer 2 a hole 11, a hole 12 adjacent to a through hole for forming a coil and a coil forming hole 2. Subsequently, in a similar manner the hole 11 is provided in (n-1)th layer, and (n-1)1th and (n-2)2th layers are provided in a setting position, and the hole having the same shape as for the 1st layer is provided in an nth layer. When the lamination and heating for the plates are acheived, a spiral hole is formed in the interior of the assembly. A conductive metallic material is molten in a vacuum, furnace and the assembly is soaked in the solution over 70 deg.C through 100 deg.C than a fusion point to charge the hole. Cu, Ag and those alloy are used for the metallic material. The excessive metallic material is screapped and cut at the corner of the hole 11 which is used for an external terminal. According to the constitution, the mass production of a small coil can be achieved easily.
