Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform sheathing work without the use of expensive panels, etc., by a method in which a pressure receiving plate and a sheet pile guide are inserted into between posts supported by cut beams in advance in an excavated trench, and steel sheet piles are penetrated into soil under the guidance of the sheet pile guide and the pressure receiving plate.
CONSTITUTION: Posts 1 are penetrated at ficed intervals in a trench excavated by an excavator, and pressure receiving plate 3 is inserted into between the grooves 11 of the posts 1. Between the posts 1 in the crossing direction with the trench is supported by a cut beam frame 2. Then, the sliding plate 44 of a sheet pile guide 4 is inserted into the grooves 11 and set in such a way that a horizontal plate 41 comes into contact with the ground's surface. And, a steel sheet pile S is penetrated into the aperture between the pressure receiving plate 3 and a vertical guide plate 42, and the area betwee the steel sheet piles S facing each other with the interposition of the trench is excavated so that the upper end of the post 1a is positioned below the ground's surface. After the completion of the penetration of the steel sheet piles S, waling is made for the area above the sheet piles S, the sheet piles S are supported by the cut beams, and the sheet pile guide 4 is removed and used for the penetration of the next steel sheet pile.
