Abstract
PURPOSE:To convert an input digital signal to a smooth analogue waveform without break points in a high speed, by utilizing the probability stastical processing. CONSTITUTION:A spurious random pulse signal (x) of the same number of bits (N-number bits) as a digital signal inputted to a D-A converter is generated at an output period tau by a spurious random signal generator 2, and an amplitude probability density function P(x) of the pulse signal (x) is made constant. This pulse signal (x) is latched in a latch circuit 3 at every tau and is applied to a digital comparator 1 surely in every pulse. The comparator 1 compares the pulse signal (x) and a sample value f(iTs), which is obtained by sampling an input digital signal f(t) at a sample period Ts(>>tau), with each other for every bit, and outputs a high- level signal under the condition of x<f(iTs). This output signal is converted to an analogue signal corresponding to the input digital through a filter 4 consisting of an integrating circuit.
