Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten the test execution time, by providing a means, which stores contents of a test execution command from a control device and contents of the test result, in a communication line test device. CONSTITUTION:Communication lines 3-6 are provided between line terminal equipments 1 and 2. A communication line testing device 7 has a testing part 8, a control part 9, a terminal controller 11, and a storage part 10. The storage part 10 stores the test execution command received from a control device 12 and the test result. When receiving the test execution command, the control part 9 of the testing device 7 checks whether contents of this command and the result of the test due to this command are stored in the storage part 10 or not; and if they are stored in the storage part 10, the control part 9 does not give the execution instruction of the test; and otherwise, it gives the execution instruction. Thus, the test execution time is shortened.
