Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the steady operation of winding by a constantly uniform force without reference to the increase of the winding diameter in a device to wind up a continuous paper leaf such as a roll paper or the like by providing a means to detect the winding diameter of the paper leaf for controlling the winding force of the paper leaf on the basis of the result of this detection.
CONSTITUTION: A windup device 5 is contained, for example, in the main body of a teller's machine together with a printing device 4. The roll paper drawn out from a roll paper winding 6 on the supply side is conducted through a printing device 4, and wound up by a windup shaft 7 to be shaped into a roll paper winding 8. A gear 9 is fast fixed on the windup shaft 7, and engaged with a drive gear 11 connected to a motor 10 for obtaining the power of rotation. Here, a detecting device 12 is provided to detect the diameter of above-said winding 8. That is, according as the diameter of the winding 8 is increased, a contact piece 15 is slided upward on a resistance 16 via a roller 14 to increase the value of resistance, and the drive power of the motor 10 is increased via an amplifier 18 and an electric source 19.
