Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Plural winding drums 14, 16, 18 attached to a winding shaft 12 are engaged with wedges 20, 22, 24. Winding drums 14, 18 are driven directly by a winding shaft 12 through a sleeve 42. The wedge 22 of the winding drum 16 is connected through a key 52 to a sleeve 50 supported by the winding shaft 12 allowing free rotation, and the sleeve 50 is connected with a sleeve 42 of the wedge 20 through an electromagnetic clutch 54. Accordingly, when the clutch is engaged completely, the winding drum 16 is driven with drums 14, 18.
