Abstract
PURPOSE: To permit a largely range turndown without combustion noise being raised by supplying a given amount of asist air to the peripheral portion of a fuel nozzle and also obtain clean combustion gas by making up the combustion chamber of a heat-resistant steel flame corn.
CONSTITUTION: In case the amount of gas is small, asist air is jetted from an asist air nozzle 5 formed at the tip of a burner body 1 in such a way as to eliminate the imperfect combustion of fuel due to the faulty mixing of fuel gas and air in a low- combustion region, whereby permitting a largely ranged turndown. Also, since a combustion chamber 24 is made up of two nearly conical flame corns 25 and 26 made of a heat-resistant steel, attached to an air casing 17, no intermixture of foreign matters in exchaust gas occurs, and therefore, a gas burner optimized for drying furnace, etc., requiring clean preheating gas can be obtained.
