Abstract

PURPOSE:To count the signal that corresponds to the subject voltage signal only, by actuating a comparator which receives the voltage signal and controls the addition subtraction of an up-down counter according to the polarity of the voltage signal. CONSTITUTION:An absolute value circuit 8 is connected to a working amplifier 3 which receives a voltage signal from a voltage signal generating mechanism 7, and an up-down counter 9 is connected to the circuit 8 via a V-F converter 4 that performs a voltage-frequency conversion. The output of the amplifier 3 is compared 10 with the 0-level potential which is adjusted by the amplifier 3 to produce an up-down control signal to set the counter 9 to the addition mode when the output of comparison is positive and to the subtraction mode when the output is negative respectively. If the AC fluctuation component is due to the change of an external electric field of a commercial AC power supply, the fluctuation component is offset through its positive and negative parts by the counter 9. Thus only the signal corresponding to the voltage signal is counted.
