PURPOSE:To achieve accurate service by correcting deviation by confirming a course directly by eyes, by storing and displaying an input navigation starting point, navigation halfway points, and a destination point as well as a route. CONSTITUTION:Navigation position data obtained by an LORAN (long range navigation) device 20 is stored in an RAM25, navigation halfway points, a starting point and a destination point are stored in an RAM27, and the procedure of a central processor (CPU)23 and character patterns are inputted to an ROM24; and a storage circuit 26 for display stores and controls addresses for diaplaying the data on a CRT28. The CPU23 is operated with buttons to read and display a route 2, the navigation halfway points (TO-WPT), the starting point 4, and stright lines, etc., between them, sotred in the memories, on the display screen 1 of the CRT28. Further, cursor lines 5 and 6 are moved to a current point 2' to find the current latitude and longitude; and the scale is changed or displayed, and navigation data, such as displacement from an expected route, distance to the destination, an azimuth angle, and a speed, are displayed. Thus, the route is corrected easily and the efficiency of the navigation is improved.
