Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a safe high-sensitivity film suitable especially for dental oral method photographing by coating an X-ray film with a coating liq. contg. a specified fluorescent substance, a high molecular compound and a solvent dissolving the compound and by drying the coating liq. CONSTITUTION:An X-ray film is dipped in a coating liq. consisting of an inorg. fluorescent substance such as CaWO4, MgWO4, (ZnS:Ag) or (BaSO4:Pb), a high molecular compound such as nitrocellulose or ethylcellulose, and a solvent dissolving the compound or further contg. an affinity improver such as a surfactant for enhancing the affinity of the fluorescent substance for the high molecular compound and a cracking inhibitor such as glycerol. The dipped film is pulled up and dried to obtain a sensitized X-ray film. This film is suitable especially for dental oral method photographing, has high sensitivity, and gives a sharp image free from dimness, unevenness, etc.
