Abstract
PURPOSE:To maintain clearance between a magnet roller and a photoreceptor always constant, by providing a pushing body for pushing a magnet roller supporting system against its moving tendency when an upper machine body is closed with respect to the main body of a copying machine. CONSTITUTION:When an upper machine body 1B is changed from a released state to a closed state, the bottom plate 7a of a photoreceptor supporting device 7 comes into contact with 2 eccentric cams 23 for adjusting clearance, and pushes them down during the closed state. It turns a developing vessel 19 constituting a magnet roller supporting system, a little anticlockwise around a shaft 22 against the elastic force of a plate spring 25. At that state, an approach tendency toward the photoreceptor 3 is given to the developing magnet roller 8 by the elastic force of the spring 25, but actual approach movement due to this tendency is hindered by contact pressure of both the cams 23 and the plate 7a, thus permitting the clearance between the photoreceptor 3 and the roller 8 to be automatically limited to a constant gap, and maintained always constant without fluctuating each time the upper machine body 1B is opened and closed.
