Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the rottenness of the human and animal remains for a long time securely, by using an antiseptic comprising preservable hydrosulfite obtainable at a store as a main component, calcium hydroxide, sodium bicarbonate, and a catalyst.
CONSTITUTION: An antiseptic comprising hydrosulfite (Na2S2O4) as a main component, calcium hydroxide, sodium bicarbonate, and a catalyst (e.g., plant active carbon) and a very small amount of water are put in a container to be hermetically sealed, which preserves the remains. The container is hermetically sealed and oxygen is reduced, to prevent the rotenness of the remains easily. The antiseptic composition is put in a paper or cloth bag and sealed with a thin film of synthetic resin, e.g., polyethylene, etc. so that it can stored for a long time. Different from conventional dry ice, it can be supplied readily at a stored, and can be used in an emergency. Its use with dry ice provides more effects.
