Abstract

PURPOSE: To mold a T pipe by such a method wherein reinforced fibers are prewound around a core mold arranged inside a branch pipe mold installed to the outer circumference of a revolving mold, and resin liquid is caused to impregnate into reinforced fibers from outside to inside and the revolving mold is caused to carry out thorough impregnation and bubble removal by centrifugally forming a T pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A branch mold 9 is installed to the outer circumference of a revolving mold 1, a core mold 13 is arranged in the branch mold, reinforced fibers are prewound inside a space 14 and resin liquid 19 is supplied from a nozzle 7 while the revolving mold 1 and a resin liquid feeding pipe 6 are caused to rotate at the same speed. The resin liquid 19 is caused to move into the outer position of the space 14 passing through a supply route 16 and a branch route 17 by centrifugal force, and then caused to impregnate into reinforced fibers 18 in sequence from outside to inside to eventually form a branch pipe. After that a pipe 20 is centrifugally formed on the revolving mold 1.
