Abstract

PURPOSE: To accelerate ignition to raw coal and simultaneously to prevent dust loading due to blowing of cinder by a method wherein high pressure cinder recovered in a furnace is supplied to the lower part of the raw coal at the front edge of a reversing stoker through a supply shoe.
CONSTITUTION: Cinders C1, C2 delivered from rotary dampers 15, 16 are supplied from the gap of a water tube wall 23 to the lower part of the front edge part 4a of the reversing stoker 4 through a screw supplier 19, a cinder hopper 20, a rotary damper 21, a cinder supply shoot 22. Accordingly, the cinder C is mixed with the raw coal A' having large grain diameters, functions as live coal and burns the coal sent from a coal feeder 3 at a uniform speed. Further, the cinder C forms a cinder layer Z at the lowest layer, does not burn as it floats in the space but it burns as mixing with coal and staying on the stoker 4. It burns completely and never produces scattering of ashes.
