It is possible, by so doing, to manufacture an electronic watch which is so designed that during a period of time from lighting of the lamp through a gate 7, etc. to the completion of the timer time, impression of drive current to a speaker is prohibited, and lighting of the lamp and emission of audible signal can be achived at the same time while avoiding heavy load during early time of lighting of the lamp.
