USE: An antimicrobial agent.
PROCESS: An antibiotic expressed by formula II (Y is H, COCH2NH2, etc.; Z is methoxy, OH, etc.) e.g., KA-6606 substance group or KA-7038 substance group, is glycylated to give a compound expressed by formula III, which is then formimidoylated, preferably in the presence of a base, in a solvent or amidinated with a guanylpyrazole having a protected primary amino group.
