Abstract
PURPOSE:To cancel the resonance mode by a round voice coil, by equalizing the shearing elastic modulus of a honeycomb core approximately in the expansion direction of cells of the honeycomb core and the direction orthogonal to this direction. CONSTITUTION:The form of a hexagonal honeycomb cell 3 of a honey-comb core 1 is expanded in the expansion direction of the cell 3. Skin materials 2 and 2' adhere to both faces of the honeycomb 1 to constitute a honeycomb diaphragm A. When the cell 3 is expanded from the concentrational regular hexagon in the expansion direction, the shearing elastic modulus of the honeycomb core 1 is equalized approximetely in expansion directions W and W' of the cell 3 and orthogonal directions L and L'. Thus, since the bend stiffness of the diaphragm A becomes isotropic in all directions approximately, the node of the resonance mode is shaped into a round, and the resonance mode is cancelled by the round voice coil.
