Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a cured article having improved pot life and mechanical properties and low-temperature characteristics, by using a specific polyisocyanate prepolymer as a hydrocarbon curing agent for a specific hydrocarbon polymer.
CONSTITUTION: A cured article is obtained by reacting (A) a hydrocarbon polymer having an average number of hydroxyl groups per molecule and a number-average molecular weight of 2.0'5.0 and 500W20,000 respectively and the saturated or mostly saturated main chain, preferably a hydrogenated conjugated diene polymer with (B) a prepolymer, having terminal isocyanate groups, and obtained by reacting (a) one or more compounds of the component (A), ethylene glycol monosilylate and propylene glycol monosilylate with (b) a diisocyanate compound.
USE: A molded article or potting material used in general-purpose rubber, etc.
