Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of the action of a circuit breaker by providing at one end of a yoke a permanent magnet surrounding a sliding plunger which is placed inside a coil within the yoke thereby realizing a high speed action. CONSTITUTION:A coil is wound around a hollow holder 2 inside a yoke 1. An iron core 7 is mounted on one end of the yoke 1 and a plunger pin 8 at one end of the sliding plunger 10 pieces the iron core 7.A permanent manget 14 is placed between the other end of the yoke 1 and a magnetic plate 13 surrounding the plunber. A T- shaped operating rold 11 extended from the plunger 10 drives the breaker. The plunger 10 is normally positioned at the right by the magnetic force of the permanent magnet 10 and is drawn to tje lefe when drawn toward the iron core 7 due to sudden decrease of magnetic force caused by the movement of the plunger.
