Abstract

PURPOSE: To manufacture the louver in a simple manner by a method wherein a number of slits are formed in the surface of a metallic plate in parallel and spaced apart and louver blades are formed by raising up the portions between each of the slits.
CONSTITUTION: A number of slits 2, 2... are formed in the surface of the metallic plate 1 in parallel and spaced apart and the louver blades 5 are formed by the portions sandwiched between each of the slits. Further, in order to prevent the metallic plate 1 from rust, a synthetic resin layer 3 is coated on the front and rear surfaces of the plate 1 including the portions inside the slits to thereby produce a louver plate 4. To produce the louver from the louver plate 4, the synthetic resin layer 3 is cut in along each of the slits 2 and the portions between each of the slits are raised up to thereby form the louver blades 6 slanting in forward and backward direction.
