Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable correct diagnosis by a simple constitution, by displaying the position of a section in an ultrasonic sectional image laid on a scintigram. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic probe 30 is fitted closely to a living-body organization of a body to be inspected from which the scintigram is being detected by a radioactive-ray detecting head through the intermediary of a radioactive substance, whereby the ultrasonic sectional image is detected. Simultaneously, while an image of a source 34 of radioactive rays which is placed at the tip of the probe 30 is observed by a monitor, it is made to accord with a mark on the scintillation camera by operating a remote operation lever 36. Then, a signal corresponding to the inclined position of the probe 30 is supplied from a sine-cosine potentiometer 42 to an integrator 46 and an integrated value is impressed on a synthesizer 40. On the other hand, to this synthesizer 40 is added a mark position signal of camera from an amplifier 38, and a scintigram displaying tube 58 is controlled through the intermediary of a multiplexer 56, whereby the display 200 of the position of the sectional image is made in an overlapping manner on the scintigram 100. Accordingly, the relative positions of the scintigram and the sectional image are grasped correctly and thus a correct diagnosis can be performed by a simple constitution.
