Abstract

PURPOSE:To start photograhing under illumination of light, by installing a switching means which turns on the illumination light after detecting the output of a voice monitor for movie camera having an earphone jack. CONSTITUTION:A sound cinecamera 1 records both pictures and sounds of subjects synchronously, and is provided with an earphone jack 2 for monitoring voice. An adaptor 3 is connected to an accessary shoe located at the upper prt of the camera 1, and a plus 4 of the adaptor 3 is connected to the jack 2. A luminous element 22 is turned on by the DC voltage component output from a recording amplifier 14, and the light is detected by a ligh receiving element 23. An ignition circuit 24 starts working by the photoelectric current of the element 23 and sends an ignition signal to a switching circuit 25. The circuit 25 is composed of a thyristor, and it maintains ON condition while the signal of the circuit 24 is input. In this way, an illumination light unit 5 is turned on by 100V AC supplied through a socket 6.
