Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the mixing of a flicker due to the blinking of illuminating light to an output video signal by detecting the blinking frequencies of the illuminating light of a subject, and operating a shutter mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A flicker circuit 4 consists of a photometric system and its photometric output spectrum analysing circuit detects whether or not a blinking frequency element to generate a flicker disturbance is superimposed on the illuminating light of the subject, and decides whether or not the flicker is superimposed on the output video signal of a sensor 1. When the flicker detecting circuit 4 detects the blinking frequencies to generate the flicker disturbance to the illuminating light, and output the detecting signal to display it, a control circuit 5 operates a shutter mechanism 6. Thus, the generation of flickers in the sensor 1 is prevented.
