Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled inexpensive resin composition having less harmfullness, good processability and being excellent in heat resistance, bleed resistance and dustproof property, prepared by adding, as a stabilizer, an organic phosphite ester containing dissolved soluble organic metal salt and a specified powdered organic acid metal salt.
CONSTITUTION: A resin composition prepared by mixing a halogen-containing resin, e.g., PVC or chlorinated polyethylene, with a stabilizer containing a organic phosphite ester, e.g., diphenylisodecyl phosphite or trisisodecylphenyl phosphite, containing 0.1W5wt% dissolved soluble organic acid salt of Ca, Sr, Ba, Mg, Sn or Zn (such as salts consisting of caproic acid or octylic acid and the abovementioned metal) and a powdered organic acid salt m.p. ≥60°C, of Ca, Sn, Ba, Mg or Zn. This composition has less toxicity, low cost, good processability and as well, heat resistance, bleeding resistance and dustproof property.
