Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the power feedability, etc., of contact parts for the purpose of maintaining a conductive layer at prescribed potential by providing an exposed part of the conductive layer to a part of a recording body, and coupling this part and the rear part of an insulation layer opposite to this by means of a conductive material. CONSTITUTION:A part where a recording layer 11 does not exist and a conductive layer 10 exposes is provided to a part of a recording body 1, and the conductive layer 10 of this exposed part and the rear surface part of an insulation layer 9 opposite to this part are coupled by means of a conductive member 13. For example, the layer on one side edge part of the belt-like recording body 1 is exposed and a hole H1 is opened in the layer 10 and the layer 9 of this part. The material 13 is provided through this hole H1 across the layer 10 and the layer 9. Thus, the material 13 and a conductive roller 14 are brought stably in contact with each other with a wide contact area, whereby the sticking of the toner, paper powder, etc. on the contact parts is reduced and power feedability and durability are improved.
