Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease the number of component elements, and also to obtain the satisfactory transient characteristics of a recording current waveform, by fetching a signal for controlling 4 transistors (TR) of a recording amplifier connected to a magnetic head, from the collector of a TR of the prestage circuit. CONSTITUTION:2 kinds of opposed digital signals of an FF1 are supplied to the base of two TR1, TR2 constituting a singal level transducer 2', they are turned on and off, and the output of each collector is level-converted to 4 kinds of output signals by the potential defference between resistances R14-R17 .Also, by these kinds of output signals, TR5-TR8 constituting a recording amplifier 4 are controlled to on and off, and the direction of a current flowing to a two-terminal thin film magnetic head 5 is controlled. Furthermore, a current value setting switch group 9 connected to a constant-current source 8 and an overshooting circuit 10 are interlocked, the base potential of TR9 is controlled and a current flowing in the transducer 2' is controlled. In this way, the number of component elements is decreased, the interference between circuits is removed, also delay time characteristics of 4 kinds of signals are made uniform, and the transient characteristics are made satisfactory.
