Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the structure of speed change pulley and to improve the durability by fixing at least one of a pair of facing V-pulley chips rotatably and movably in axial direction where the pulley chip at the movable side is actuated by pressing with a spring.
CONSTITUTION: A V-pulley chip 3 is fitted rotatably and movably in the axial direction to a shaft S while facing with another V-pulley chip 1 fixed to the shaft S. A flanged stopper 5 is fitted on the shaft S at the right side of said movable pulley 3 with interval, while a spring 4 is placed between said stopper 5 and the movabale pulley chip 3. Both end stopper sections of the spring 4 are stopped at the opposite crescent grooves G1, G2 formed on the stepped plane of the movable pulley chip 3 and the stopper 5. Each bent grooves G1, G2 is shallowest at the tip section A and going deep gradually to be 1/6W1/1 of the spring diameter at the end B.
