Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a resin compsn. having excellent mechanical and melt properties during extrusion molding, by blending polybutylene terephthalate and aluminum salt of a long-chain fatty acid with a polyether ester.
CONSTITUTION: 0.1W10pts.wt. Polybutylene terephthalate (B) derived from terephthalic acid and 1,4-butanediol, and 0.05W5pts.wt. aluminum salt of a long-chain fatty acid (C) (e.g. aluminum stearate or aluminum montanate), are mixed with 100pts.wt. polyether ester block copolymer (A) [contg. as structural components, a hard segment composed of a polyester derived from terephthalic acid and 1,4- butanediol and 5W80wt% soft segment composed of polyoxyalkylene glycol having a number-average MW of 300W6,000] to obtain the desired resin compsn.
