Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve a current response characteristic in an inductive load by conducting No.1 control rectifying device installed between a single-phase AC source and an inductive load and No.2 control rectifying device which is connected in parallel with the inductive load alternately or simultaneously in every half-cycle of a single-phase AC voltage. CONSTITUTION:No.1 thyristor TH1 is connected in series between a single- phase AC source eo and an inductive load, and No.2 thyristor TH2 is connected in parallel with the inductive load. Both thyristors are controlled alternately in every half cycle of a single-phase AC source voltage at a phase control angle alpha with a phase shifter P.S'. Therefore, a rise-up characteristic of a load current of the inductive load is improved by a forcing circuit FC. Moreover, with this system a power can be regenerated from the inductive load to the source, so the last transition characteristic is also improved.
