Abstract

PURPOSE: To accurately perform fuel control even at high speed operation, by deciding every time fuel injection amount with the combination of a shuttle measurement mechanism and four-way valve.
CONSTITUTION: The overall body of a pump comprises a fuel feed device 1, measurement device 2 and pressure distribution device 3 connected to injection valves 36. The measurement device 2 comprises a shuttle measurement mechanism 7 and four-way valve 8. There are provided in the mechanism 7 a shuttle 10, vertically moving in a cylinder 9, fixed stopper 11 and movable stopper 12 arranged in upper and lower parts of said shuttle. Then the movable stopper 12 is vertically moved in accordance with speed, and fuel discharged from a discharge port 17 is measured every time when the shuttle 10 is shifted in the cylinder 9. And the four-way valve 8 switches inlet and outlet ports 18, 21 at every prescribed angle. Then measured fuel is pressurized to high pressure in the pressure distribution device 3 and injected from the injection valve 36.
