Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the formation of highly accurate holes while to prevent the thermal distortion, by making the thin board surface of same material with each electrode means to be insulative through chemical method while inserting a spacer formed with an insulative film. CONSTITUTION:First spacer 44 is located while tightly contacting between first grid 43 and first electron beam control electrode 45, while some points on the circumference are secured partially by a flit glass. The first spacer 44 is made of 42-6 alloy similarly with the first electrode 43, where holes of 250-350phi are made through etching then it is heated to high temperature of 800-900 deg.C and formed with an oxidation film. The second spacer 46 is located between the first and second control electrodes 45, 47 and secured similarly with the first spacer 44 while contacting tightly. Consequently highly accurate holes can be formed thereby an electrode structure which causes no thermal distortion can be produced.
