Abstract

PURPOSE: To shape a bearing together with a long hole as an oil groove when a steel plate is subjected to a press work unto the bearing by manufacturing the bearing and a shafr member independently and thereafter unitedly fitting them into one shaft.
CONSTITUTION: A shaft 4 of an enclosed compressor is made up by unitedly fitting a tubular bearing 12 on the outside of a tubular shaft member 11 which has a crank part 7. Along hole 17 as an oil groove 13 is drilled in the bearing 12 and an oil hole 14 is drilled in the shaft member 11 at a position corresponding to the long hole 17. The oil groove may be easier to be shaped in comparison with an ordinary case of the shaping as that a core box is inserted inside the shaft member 11 and a punch is forcibly driven from the outside into the shaft member toward the core box.
