Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve strength and magnetic characteristics while realizing low cost and easy work, by providing a specific base layer between a substrate made of metal and a thin magnetic oxide film. CONSTITUTION:On a substrate 2 made of metal such as aluminum alloy and aluminum alloy treated with an oxide film, a base layer 3 made of SiO2 or glass is provided by being sputtered or in other methods and while Fe3O4 is regarded as a target, an Fe3O4 film is formed by being sputtered in an Ar atmosphere and thermally treated in the air to obtain a thin magnetic oxide film 1 made of gamma-Fe2O3.
