Abstract

PURPOSE: To make remarkable improvement in thermal fatigue by assembling a gas valve in a double costruction composed of a high temperature valve and a low temperature one in a unitary body.
CONSTITUTION: A gas valve 11 is provided with an inner housing 12 comprising a high temperature passage 27, an outer housing 13 which envelopes the inner housing 12 and comprises a high temperature gas passage 27 and an isolated low temperature gas passage 34, a high temperature valve 20 capable of opening and closing the high temperature gas passage 27 and a low temperature valve 40 capable of opening and closing a low temperature gas passage 34. Thus, said valve has a double structure wherein the high temperaure valve 20 and the low temperature valve 40 are cnstructed in one body. The high temperature valve 20 on the side of a hot leg is enveloped and the outside thereof is positioned in the atmosphere on the side of a cold leg, therefore the outer housing of the high temperature valve 20 is maintained at atmospheres temperature of the low temperature gas and the thermal fatigue is improved remarkably.
