Abstract
PURPOSE: To avert the collision of a wrapper roller against a level change part by temporarily retreating the wrapper roller before the level change part arrives at the wrapper roller part in initial winding and resuming pressing with necessary pressing force after the passage thereof.
CONSTITUTION: The detection signals Sb of strip detectors 70, 70', the sheet metal gage signal Sh of a sheet metal gage detector 72, the speed signal Sv of a strip traveling speed detector 73, and the angle signal Sr of the rotating angle detector 74 of a winding barrel 6 are inputted respectively to an arithmetic processor A, which arithmetically processes these and outputs a command signal Xc and a switching signal Yo. The switching signal Yo is converted to a switching output Zo by a relay unit port, and said output is supplied to a directional control valve 92. The valve 92 directionally controls the pressure oil from the piping 95 connected to a pressure oil supply source 99, and supplies and discharges the same through a piping 90 or 91, thereby operating a large stroke cylinder 62. The position signal X' and command signal Xc of a position detector 71 are inputted to a deviation operator B, which delivers an output to a servovalve 82, thereby supplying the pressure oil to a cylinder 61.
