Abstract
PURPOSE: To permit a large amount of purified water free of sand etc. to be supplied by consecutively installing the filtering apparatuses of which filtering performance is improved efficiently by use of silica sand.
CONSTITUTION: The water collecting tank 2 for accommodating a submerged pump 1 is constituted by welding an iron pipe 2a and an iron disc 2b having the hole having the same diameter to a pipe 3 bored at the center of the disc 2b, and the pipe 3 which communicates to the water collecting tank 2 and the flange which is welded onto the inside pipe 4 having a number of long holes 4a board on the peripheral surface are fastened by bolts and nuts. The peripheral surface of the inside pipe 4 is covered with the filtering tank 4 having a number of long holes 4a bored so as to be filled with silica sand, and said filtering tank 5 is surrounded with a metal net 7. The filtering apparatuses are installed consecutively, and the lower edge area of the inside pipe 4 is closed.
