Abstract

CONSTITUTION:This sliding contact material is made of a composition obtd. by adding 0.5-10wt% one or more among W, V, Ta and Nb to Ag. Since the contact material has a high softening temp., the external contact ship of the commutator of a small-sized motor formed with the contact material is not welded during sliding, and the contact resistance is low, slmost uniform and stable.
